In response to an appeal from The Little Sisters of the Poor, Batu Lancang, members of NED got together and donated 4 sets of adult diapers (360 pcs.) to the Home. They were delivered on 9 April by Lazada delivery service. The Home depends on church collections and since the MCO, the movement of people especially volunteers had been curtailed.
We have also recently donated frozen vegetarian foodstuff and other necessities to the Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak OKU, Taman Island. This Home houses 19 children with various disabilities and their ages range from 13 to 49 years. They also depend mainly on public donations. On a previous occasion, NED contributed packed lunches for some Bangalesh workers who were out of job due to the MCO.
