We celebrated the Chinese Festival, Choong Yuen Chieh (Memorial Prayers) on Sunday, 30 August 2009, at 7.00pm. Beautiful lotus candles with the names of departed loved ones were offered by our members and placed at Swami's altar before the commencement of bhajan.
In addition to our regular vedam chanting and mantras, special prayers chanted for the evening included Lord Shiva slokas, Lingashtakam, Mrityunjaya Mantra and the Great Compassion Mantra.
