We celebrated Wesak Day on the morning of 31st May at 10.00 a.m. Prayers began with bhajans, Sai and Buddhist mantras and the sharing of Swami's Divine Message. Following that, we also shared a short introduction to the recent Walk for Peace USA and a clip of the Venerable Bhikku Panakara's inspiring speech at Austin, Texas for Wesak. Everyone had the opportunity of bathing the statue of the Little Buddha after Arati. A sumptuous vegetarian lunch was later served to all present.
We wish to thank the many devotees from Sai Home, Gelugor Centre and Penang Centre for their support and making this occasion a specially joyful and memorable one.
