Our annual Memorial Prayers for departed souls (Zhong Yuan Jie) were held on the evening of Sunday, 27th August. Beautiful lotus candles with cards bearing the names of devotees' departed loved ones were offered by our members and placed on the altar together with offerings of fruit and "kueh". Prayers and bhajans commenced at 7 p.m.
