We were at the Evershine Home for the old on Deepavali Day to bring cheer to the residents there. We served them home cooked red bean soup, curry puffs and cream puffs for tea and after tea held a short bhajan for Swami's blessings on the residents. It was the first time in 20 years that a bhajan was held at the Home which houses around 40 old people, the majority of whom are Indians. We will be visiting them again as part of our community service.
