Choong Yuen Chieh (Memorial Prayers)

The annual 7th Moon Memorial Prayers (Choong Yuen Chieh) were held at our Centre on the evening of Sunday, 11th August.  Lotus lamps with cards bearing the names of our departed loved ones were lighted and placed at Swami's altar for His blessings together with offerings of fruits and kueh.  Our prayers began with Rudram chanting followed by bhajans, Buddhist and Tibetan mantras.  About 50 devotees attended the prayers.
