We carried out a medical screening at two orphanages in Mt.Erskine on Sunday, 17 March. The children were from Shan Home (21) and Ru Yi Home (14). Two doctors from GH were on hand to examine the children while our centre volunteers assisted in monitoring weight, height, vision and hair health. General medicine and vitamins were prescribed where necessary. This yearly service to underprivileged children is the Centre's commitment under its medicare programme for the needy.
