Our centre held celebrations for the Chinese 7th Month Memorial Day, i.e., Choong Yuen Chieh, on August 18th, 2013. Lotus candles with names of departed loved ones were offered by our members at Swami's altar before prayers. We chanted Lord Shiva mantras, Lingashtakam and Tibetan Buddhist mantras, as well as, Shiva bhajans in commemoration of this festival.
