Our bi-monthly distribution of vegetables and dry rations at the Ayya Temple, Farlim was carried out on Saturday, 6th July. Usually about 80 needy people are served.
Apart from the above, we also distributed same to four old folks' homes and orphanages in Penang island and mainland. The Little Sisters of the Poor also received a variety of vegetables.
A bag of vegetables was also given to this family (see video above). The little girl showed us that she is learning from a book given to her earlier. This book programme for children was launched last year as part of our seva.
Bi-monthly Narayana Seva on 13th and 14th July providing dry rations to 21 poor families in and around Farlim, Paya Terubong, Kampung Melayu, Rifle Range flats, Free School Road flats and Desa Green involving 5 volunteers from NED Centre.
