Happy Wesak Day (Buddha Purnima) - 12th May 2025

Bathing the Little Buddha

It was a joyous Wesak morning as we gathered for prayers at the Centre on this auspicious day which signifies the birth, enlightenment and final passing away of the Buddha.  We began with Veda chanting followed by bhajans, Buddhist and Sai mantras and Swami's Divine Message.  Devotees also had the opportunity to bathe the Little Buddha which had been beautifully set up on the altar.  A vegetarian lunch was served to all after Mangala Arati.

May the wisdom of the Buddha illuminate the hearts of all beings and may His timeless teachings guide us on the path of compassion, peace and awakening.
