Mother's Day Celebration

We celebrated Mother's Day at the Centre on the evening of 14th May to honour all our centre mothers (and grandmothers!).  A slideshow of old photos taken of our mothers during service
activities was shown, after which children from four families offered flowers to their mothers and expressed their love and gratitude.  The finale was the cutting of the Mother's Day cake by three senior mothers.

Serving the Old

In conjunction with Mother's Day, the Wanita Wing organised a lunch for the residents of the Silver Jubilee Home for the old on Sunday, 14th May.  The morning began with prayers and entertainment for the old after which lunch was served in the community hall and medical wards.  The ladies helped to serve the food and also assisted in feeding the sick and bedridden in the wards.
