National Self Transformation Programme Retreat

 

The Sai Central Council of Malaysia organized its first National Self Transformation Programme Retreat on March 22nd - 23rd, 2014.  The venue was at Barre IJ Centre in Cameron Highlands.  Six members of NED had participated in this event which accommodated almost 300 Sai members from all over Malaysia.

There were many inspiring talks given by National and STP leaders, various sharing sessions by STP participants, role-plays as well as a workshop to enhance the full understanding of this important programme.

Enlightenment Day of Goddess Kuan Yin 2014

The Enlightenment Day for Goddess Kuan Yin falls on March 19th, 2014.  Our members conducted bhajans and Tibetan Buddhist mantras for the auspicious occasion at 8.00pm in the evening.

2014 Sadhana Camp at NED

NED centre held its first Sadhana Camp for 2014 on March 16th, 2014, from 9.30am - 1.00pm.  After our opening prayers, the first topic on 'Love' was presented by Bro Lee YK.  Bro Lee expounded on the subject 'Love' as taught by Swami in His various discourses.  This was followed by a half-hour coffee-break at 11.00am.  

The next discussion on 'Conversation with Sai' was facilitated by Sis Adeline Teh.  This was an interactive session whereby there were questions and answers pertaining to the role of a Sai devotee and Swami's Golden Age.  Many questions were further raised from the floor and discussed together.  It was indeed a fulfilling morning for all who had attended this spiritual event.

At 12.45noon, Mangala Arathi was offered and it was followed with vegetarian lunch.

Mahashivaratri 2014

The auspicious celebration of Mahashivaratri was held on February 28th, 2014, from 8.00pm - 11.00pm.  Our prayers included Veda chanting, Shiva mantras, Lingashtakam, and bhajans.
