Gift of appreciation to the Centre Secretary

It was a joyous Christmas Eve at NED with many devotees turning up to celebrate Christmas.  The evening began with bhajans which was followed by devotees singing together popular Christmas carols.  A surprise item was the presentation of a gift to the Centre's Secretary, Bro. Lim Soon Kheng by a senior devotee, in appreciation of his valuable contributions to the Centre over the past many years.   The evening ended around 10 p.m. after refreshments were served to all.

With the blessings of Bhagawan, the Devotional Songs & Cultural Performances organised by the Penang State Sathya Sai Baba SCA Wing was successfully held on Monday, 18th December 2017 at the Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang.  This event was held in conjunction with Bhagawan's 92nd Birthday.  Members of the SSOI from K.L. namely Bro. Mahendran, Bro. Billy Fong and Bro. Yoong graced the occasion.  Special guest speaker was Bro. T.G.Krishnamurthy from Puttaparthi.  Included in the programme were a Tabala performance, cultural dances, a Lion Dance, devotional songs and bhajans.  Recognition Awards were also given to devotees age 70 and above who have been in the Sai fold for some 30 years.  Recognition Awards were also given to some vegetable sellers for their contributions.   The evening culminated with Bhagawan's Birthday Song and cutting of the birthday cake, followed by Arathi.

This auspicious day began with Omkar at 5.30 a.m. at our Centre followed by prayers and bhajans in the evening.  After bhajans, the Chairman gave his address which was followed by two videos: "His Mission Continues" and "Sai Never Sleeps". The State SCA Co-ordinator also gave a special address.  Bhagawan's birthday cake was cut by a long time devotee to the joyous singing of the birthday song. The evening ended at around 10.30 p.m. with Prasadam for all devotees.
