In conjunction with Ladies Day, the Wanita Wing organised lunch for the residents of the Silver Jubilee Home, Sg. Ara on Sunday, 19th November.  The morning began with prayers followed by the serving of a sumptuous vegetarian lunch to all residents numbering 158.  Our volunteers also served the old and bedridden in the medical wards with Sai love and care.

In the evening, the ladies led the weekly Sunday bhajan at the Centre to celebrate this special occasion.

Penang State Ladies Day

A total of 72 Sai sisters took part in the chanting of Bhagawan's Ashtottaram at Sg. Nibong Bhajan Unit on Sunday, 19th November in conjunction with Ladies Day.  They chanted 10 malas in total with 12 bhajans in-between. The morning concluded at around 12 noon with Prasadam for all.

Global Akhanda Bhajan 2017

This year's Penang State Akhanda Bhajan was held on 11th and 12th November at the SSBC Bukit Mertajam.  The programme began with Rudram Chanting at 5.00 p.m. on Saturday, 11th November. The Sathya Sai Baba Centres of NED, Prai, Gelugor, Penang, BM, and Sg. Nibong and Alma Bhajan units participated .  The programme closed with Mangala Aarti at 6 p.m on Sunday, 12th November.

Kuan Yin's Birthday

We held prayers at the Centre to observe Goddess Kuan Yin's third birthday of the year which fell on 7th November 2017.  This day is known as the Day of Renunciation.
