Prayers for Departed Souls
The annual 7th Moon Memorial Prayers (Chung Yuan Chieh) were held at our Centre on Sunday, 3rd September. Lotus lamps with cards bearing the names of our departed loved ones were lighted and placed at Swami's altar together with offerings of fruits and kueh. Our prayers included Shiva bhajans and mantras, as well as Buddhist and Tibetan mantras.
