The Sai Fellowship Dinner organised by the Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Gelugor was held at its premises on  Friday, 8th January 2016.  More than 200 devotees from the Sai Centres in Penang attended. It was an evening of music, song and dance, sharing by Centre Chairmen and a lucky draw.  Dinner was a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes from a local caterer.  The evening ended at around 11 p.m.

NY Eve Fellowship Night

The end of another year and once again, members of NED gathered at the Centre for a potluck fellowship dinner to bid farewell to 2015 and welcome in 2016. There was a wide variety of vegetarian food, most of which were home cooked by the ladies, for everyone to enjoy.  It was a very relaxed and happy evening as we mingled and chatted among ourselves. After dinner, we gathered at the prayer hall for the video screening of the recent Christmas celebrations at Prashanti Nilayam.  Bhajans and prayers followed to usher in the new year.

May the New Year bring you Joy, Peace and Happiness!  Jai Sai Ram!

Sanctify the New Year

"Therefore, O Embodiments of Divine love! Recognise that the Samvatsara (new year) connotes God who bears several appellations relating to Time. Sanctify the new year by engaging yourselves in pure, selfless and ennobling activities. As far as possible, avoid causing harm or pain to others. As you sow, so you reap. Whenever you feel disturbed by a sense of anger, envy, pride, jealousy and the like, be alert and resort to the contemplation of the Lord."
